The second annual Dallas Reggae Festival at Fair Park Band Shell (1465 First Ave.) takes place on Saturday, July 23, from 3 p.m. until 11 p.m. The festival features live entertainment, arts and crafts and Caribbean food. Local eateries participating in the festival include Elaine's Kitchen, Dallas West Indies United and Caribbean Grill, which will serve up traditional fare, including everything from Jamaican jerk chicken, escoveitched king fish, Jamaican beef patties and rice and peas.

Tickets costs $35 in advance and $40 at the door, or $70 for VIP access. The official festival after-party will take place that night at Caribbean Grill (3068 Forest Lane) from 10 p.m. until 4 a.m.
