Deep Ellum Brewing Launches IPA This Weekend, Followed By a Ride to World of Beer

This Saturday, January 14, the Deep Ellum Brewing Company will debut its Deep Ellum IPA, which it's calling "the backbone and most coveted beer in the brewery."

The party gets going at 4 p.m. with a tour of the brewery. Easy Slider food truck and The Bacon Wagon will be on site to provide a little sustenance, and the latter is making a special Deep Ellum IPA bacon chili for the event.

After the tour, everyone is to load up on two double-decker buses and head out to Arlington for the grand opening of World of Beer, a bar with more than 500 beers from around the world.

Advance purchase of tickets. is recommended since seating on the buses is limited to 162 passengers. Thirty bucks will get you the tour, beer tastings, a souvenir logo glass, a DEBC shirt and the roundtrip transportation to World of Beer. Or you can just do the tour for $8.
