If you haven't visited the lovely Butterfly Garden outside the Bath House Cultural Center on the east side of White Rock Lake, drop by the Dallas Green Festival Butterfly Rally tomorrow morning for a free breakfast.

Breakfasters and butterfly lovers will get a look at 30 electric smart cars as they quietly whir by as part of a fundraiser for environmental science education programs at the Texas Discovery Gardens. Drivers -- members of the DFW Smart Car Club -- will arrive just after 11 a.m. (if things go as planned and Garland Road isn't backed up), but the excitement begins when DJ Gene Smith starts spinning at 10:30 a.m.

Families are invited. Make it a party. Bring your own picnic, if you have a big appetite. (There are lots of picnic tables and benches by the lake.) Just don't bring a butterfly net. It's their garden, after all.
