Paula Deen just apologized to the world on YouTube. The Food Network superstar known for her love of butter, diabetes and most recently, racism, issued a heavily edited 45-second speech. Deen was supposed to appear on the "Today" show for an exclusive interview to discuss her racist statements in a deposition for a discrimination lawsuit involving a former employee.

"I want to apologize to everybody, for the wrong that I've done," Deen says, describing her behavior as "totally, totally unacceptable." Deen addresses her fans, children, team and others begging for forgiveness. "Please forgive me for the mistakes that I've made," she said.
