This week's review tackles Cobb Switch Barbecue, the new Carrollton joint that's all about the carne.

As if Dave's writing didn't already paint you a vivid picture of the place, we've got our weekly photo gallery from Sara Kerens up now as well.

Finally, as a special end-of-month treat, after the jump you'll find the best of the food photography we've run on City of Ate this month, in case you haven't salivated nearly enough yet today.

Our first review of the month featured a visit to Cadot.

The Southwest Foodservice Expo featured plenty of food-related contests, like the barista competition that led to these espresso caipirinhas.

Also, lots of fun, but inedible, merchandise, like this table of all-plastic food.

At Lemongrass, the spring rolls caught our photographer's eye, and Dave mentioned they were a highlight of his visit as well.

At Taste of Dallas, even the ice cream was hot.

Dave visited Masaryk and found no shortage of "mod-Mex" inspired dishes. Our photo gallery from the restaurant included lots of the same shade of green, too.
