Grapevine Craft Brewery is celebrating one blissfully hoppy year of craft brewing. It's a civic affair, this celebration, or so the guest list would imply. Grapevine's mayor is expected to be in attendance, as are lots of other people who can't be identified in a crowd. Ten beers -- including two special casks -- will be on tap. So join the Mayor for a pint, for Grapevine, for America. But mostly for a pint.

The Inwood Tavern is celebrating its golden anniversary the right way: with $1 PBRs, $1 root beer shots and free pizza. There won't be any retrospective Jello salads here, no sir! Just drink specials, DJ Kelly Reverb and you. Unless you like retrospective Jello salads. And then I guess you could bring one in your purse, or perhaps an oversized cargo pants pocket.

The Dallas chapter of the French-American Chamber of Commerce (FACCD) will forego collective baguette-nibbling and slap on some deodorant this Friday for their, how do you say, French-Riviera-inspired soiree. For $65, a general admission ticket includes food and wine tastings, a swanky wine glass, silent auction and of course, a sense of quiet indignation. Participating vendors include Baboush, Bisous Visous Patisserie, Lavendou, Le Bilboquet, Les Trois Petis Cochons and several others that I wouldn't try to pronounce lest I sound très silly.

Turning 10 used to be a simple affair. A bounce house and a couple of pizzas were all it took -- but not anymore. Rahr & Sons is turning 10 the new way. The VIP way. They're throwing a celebration with roughly 20 beers on tap -- including rare tappings of Angry Goat, La Grange and Bourbon Barrel Aged Winter Warmer -- food by Chadra Mezza & Grill, Reata's Mike Micallef, T&P Tavern and chef Terry Chandler. Oh, and High School Caesar will be there, because apparently renting a karaoke machine just isn't "cool" anymore. Tickets are $75.

Like any good 10-year-old, Rahr & Sons will keep the party going into Saturday, when they will host an extended tour and tasting. Over 30 rare beers will be available for sampling, including The Regulator, Midnight Cab 2013 with Figs, Iron Joe, 9th Anniversary Belgian Golden Ale, Bourbon Barrel Aged Winter Warmer 2013, Batch 1000 Pilsner, Iron Thistle, Angry Santa, and Visionary 2014 Pumpkin Ale aged with rum barrel spirals. Food trucks and live music will be on site. General admission is $10, VIP is $20.

Watch the wheels go round and round from your spot on the CornucopiBus. Sadly, it's not a cornucopia-shaped bus. That would be awesome. But it's still pretty cool. For $50, the bus -- which is sponsored by the Dallas Brew Scene -- will take you to tastings at three different breweries. There will also be a snack courtesy of LUCK and a commemorative snifter, for all your commemorative snifter needs. In between stops, tour guides will educate you on the North Texas brew scene. It's like Ms. Frizzle and the Magic School Bus, only Ms. Frizzle will most likely have a beard and all of her students will be buzzed.
