The Adolphus’ City Hall Bistro hosts a cocktail class led by head bartender Morgan Moore, who will teach guests how to make two holiday-themed cocktails ideal for entertaining: The Sugar, Spice and Everything Nice and the Winter Spiced Old Fashioned. Light bites from chef Jeramie Robison will be provided throughout the class. Complimentary valet provided.

The Cousins Maine Lobster Food Truck is setting up at Tupps Brewery McKinney this weekend to serve lobster rolls, and you can also hear the Trey Allen Band perform starting at 7 p.m. while you sip some locally brewed beer.

“It’s the holidays” is an excuse many use to overindulge at dinner parties this month. Here’s another time to use it: Deep Ellum has a new spot just for desserts. Magical Dessert Bar serves up ample unicorns, pink frosting and glitter, but there’s also a ton of cake, and the bakery is celebrating its grand opening this weekend.

This tour includes wine tastings and pairing tips — with hors d’oeuvres, appetizers and food hosted by wine connoisseur and chef George Keaton, CEO of The Catering Guys — all to enjoy while cruising through the city of Dallas in a cozy motor coach as well as stops to sample local dishes for pairing with wine.

If you’re looking for a vegan holiday feast, Trinity Groves has you covered. V-Eats is hosting a four-course, 100 percent vegan Christmas meal with all the fixings. You can choose between a variety of holiday classics as well as a couple of new twists. Tax, tip and ticket fees are all included at the time of sale. Reservation times are 5, 6:30 and 8 p.m.
