One of the first entries listed in Christian Lander's "Stuff White People Like" blog is Farmers Markets. If that's true, the area's newest weekly pickings should be a roaring success thanks to its prime location in the city's outskirts.

Located at the south end of Allen's Market Street in Watters Creek At Montgomery Farm (a mixed-use development), the open-air market will be open from 8 a.m. to noon every Saturday starting this Saturday, April 4...probably not the best start date, because white folk also like NASCAR.

Oh well, several local vendors have already signed up, including Sloans Creek Farm, Desert Creek Honey, Ace Bees, Mozzarella Company and a few others. Currently, Watters Creek will waive vendor fees and even provide a booth. Got something to sell to white people? Call 972-747-8000 or visit the Watters Creek web site.
