To prepare for this fall's Best of Dallas® 2014 issue, we're counting down (in no particular order) our 100 Favorite Dishes. If there's a dish you think we need to try, leave it in the comments, or email me.

It may be hard to construe a glass of beer as a dish, but having a beer at Craft and Growler is a food experience everyone should have, and this list is as good a reason as any to spur you into action.

Craft and Growler boasts one of the best local beer selections in Dallas, and a flight will give you access to four of them for just $10. When you find your soulmate, make things a little more formal and order a pint. Grab a bowl of snack mix and join the fellow beer nerds to your left and right in a passionate debate about the abuse of hops in American brewing.

If that beer is still working for you when your glass is empty, and you're ready for a bigger commitment, grab a growler off the wall and have a bartender fill you up with your new friend. Any bar can pour you a beer you like, but not too many will let you take some home.
