When I wanted a special occasion meal for my birthday and didn't want to break the bank, I went to Local and ordered a burger. I did this as much for the alliteration as I did for the meal itself. Who can deny "birthday burger" rolls off the tongue.

At $22, the price is steep for an American staple that often runs $2.99, but this is hardly a drive-through burger. Pasture-raised Burgundy beef makes for a flavorful patty and the kitchen's attention to detail assures it arrives just as you ordered it. I get mine juicy and charred black on the outside with a rosy red center. Is it worth 22 bucks?

Yes.
