Today at 5 p.m. The Meddlesome Moth will tap Bombshell with Jasmine Cask by the Southern Star Brewing Co. from Conroe.

The kids at the University of Illinois spent their first day of classes yesterday breaking a Guinness world record by creating the largest smoothie. They blended 600 pounds of strawberries, 960 pounds of yogurt and 105 gallons of pineapple juice for a total of 330 gallons of smoothie.

Food Truck Sightings Jack's ChowHound will be in the Arts District from 11 a.m until 2:30 p.m. today for lunch.

SSahm BBQ is serving lunch at 2626 Howell Street just west of McKinney Avenue and dinner is at 5742 E. Mockingbird Lane. As a bonus feature SMU students get 15 percent off at Walgreen with their ID. Can't beat that, huh, kids?

Nammi is at the Sigel's on Fitzhugh for lunch and Walgreen's on Belt Line Road starting at 6 p.m. for dinner.
