On Thursday, June 30, Central 214 is hosting a VIP (Very Important Pet) Pooch patio dinner-party with proceeds benefiting Operation Kindness. That night, party-goers and their canine friend(s) are invited to dress to impress and strut down a paw-printed red carpet, where they'll be greeted by the pup-parazzi. Central 214 will be serving "dog days of summer" drink specials all night, including $5 house wine, $4 well drinks, $3 domestic beers, plus specials on pooch-themed cocktails like Salty Dogs and Greyhounds. Chef Blythe Beck and her culinary team will be grilling summer patio bites such as hot dogs and burgers, which will be served alongside a vast selection of Southern sides. The party costs $10, with $5 benefiting Operation Kindness, and tickets provide guests with all they can eat food and enters them in a drawing for the chance to win an overnight stay at Kimpton's Hotel Palomar Dallas and dinner for two at Central 214, plus pet goodies from Pet Supplies "Plus". The event runs from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m., and tickets can be purchased at the door.
