Support the independent voice of Dallas and help keep the future of Dallas Observer free.
If you already have plans for Memorial Weekend, cancel them. If you don't, congratulations, you do now.
The Deep Ellum Brewing Company is getting all grown up and is already planning "second annual" events. It's like kindergarten is done and they're off to college already.
DEBC is hosting a Brew-B-Q in its brand-spanking new beer garden, which is looking quite sharp in an industrial-swank Deep Ellum sort of way. They'll have all their current beers on tap, an "epic array of homebrew" and some flavors from other local breweries including Peticolas, Lakewood, Martin House Brewing and Armadillo Ale Works.
All this fun will take place in front of live musical stylings by The O's.
The festivities all take place on May 27 from 6 to 10 p.m. Tickets are $25 in advance, which will get you a plate of Q plus a Brew-B-Q souvenir glass. The price goes up $5 day of.
Buy tickets in advance through EventBrite.
Keep the Dallas Observer Free... Since we started the Dallas Observer, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Dallas, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Dallas with no paywalls.
