Horne & Dekker, the soon-to-open North Henderson Avenue collaboration from Shawn Horne and Flynn Dekker, has released its menu of "gourmet comfort food."

In practice, that seems to call for a good bit of meat and cream: The appetizer section features sauced shellfish and sausage; homemade chips with blue cheese dip; and duck confit. Entrees -- including a "big fat rib eye" and Dr Pepper-braised pork shoulder -- are apparently served a la carte, with available sides of creamed Brussels sprouts, whipped sweet potatoes and handmade spaetzel. Peanut butter buckeyes and birthday cake round out the dessert selection.

Horne & Dekker's also picked up on The Green Room's popular "feed me, wine me" option, giving patrons a chance to surrender to "grape & grub." "Tell us what you don't like, and our culinary team will prepare four courses you're sure to like," the menu promises.

The restaurant is scheduled to open tomorrow at 2323 N. Henderson Ave.
