Even restaurants with God in their names aren't immune to the economy. (Or maybe God got shorted on his order of potato skins.) The T.G.I. Friday's chains Irving location at 1001 MacArthur Park has closed. Every piece of T.G.I. Friday's flair and signage has been removed and all that remains is a sad hand-written sign that reads: "Sorry, we are closed," which is accompanied by a frown. But buck up, if you live in the Irving area and are craving food from T.G.I. Friday's you can go to DFW airport. There's a T.G.I. Friday's restaurant in almost every terminal.

And who says traveling is hell?
