An employee of Lockhart Smokehouse was arrested early this morning for threatening police officers with a knife after they responded to a complaint called in by an unnamed witness. If you want details on the incident involving Kenneth Gonzaba check out this write-up on Unfair Park.
A reporter for The Dallas Morning News' crime blog tweeted at Lockhart Smokehouse asking if they had any public comment on the incident. The response:
@tlhudson oh no. Kenny is a valuable employee. We will keep an eye on the situation as it develops.
Gonzaba is a manager and bartender at the popular Oak Cliff barbecue restaurant. According to the police report the knife was approximately 18 inches in length with a wood handle and a jagged blade. Sounds a little bit like a brisket knife?
