UPDATE: Congrats mlopez22, come and get your tickets!

Torchy's Tacos is opening up yet another taco restaurant in the Dallas area. This one's at 9440 Garland Road, Suite 234. The newest location will feature full alcohol sales just like the SMU location that opened up back in August, and true to Torchy's form they're opening up with a party.

Ticket holders can get a free meal tomorrow night from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. Attendees who are over 21 will also get two drink tickets.

Speaking of tickets, we've got two to give away here on City of Ate. Just leave your email address in the comments and at the end of the day I'll use a random number generator to pick a winner, who can then pick up their prize here at Observer headquarters.

Keep the Dallas Observer Free... Since we started the Dallas Observer, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Dallas, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Dallas with no paywalls.
