Last month, we announced that City of Ate is teaming up with The Kessler Theater for a dinner series featuring live music and food from some of the city's best chefs.

The first installment of City of Ate's Supper Club at The Kessler is happening this Thursday at 6:30 p.m., and you can still get tickets on our Prekindle site for $60 a person.

Marc Cassel, formerly of The Green Room and Park, will be serving a three-course dinner, and Damon K. Clark will provide the tunes. But we know you're not made of money (hell, we aren't either), so today we're offering half price tickets through our Voice Deal of the Day website here.

Get 'em while they're hot, and check out the drool-worthy menu after the jump.

Menu for the City of Ate Supper Club at The Kessler

First Course: Raw Vegetable & Spring Lettuce Salad with Dallas Goat Cheese & Lemon Vinaigrette

Second Course: Beef Tenderloin with Wild Mushroom Stroganoff Egg Noodles & Parsley-Tomato Relish

Keep the Dallas Observer Free... Since we started the Dallas Observer, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Dallas, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Dallas with no paywalls.
