The Dallas Farmers Market Friends released their summer program schedule this week. The series of five classes will help home cooks make good use of all the summer produce they have access to downtown and at other neighborhood farmers markets.

The first class is July 13 with Abraham Salum demonstrating the coastal cuisines of Mexico. Here's the complete list ...

July 13, Abraham Salum Salum Restaurant Coastal cuisines of Mexico

July 20, Anthony Van Camp S?R Steak + Spirits at the Hilton Anatole Local ingredients and modern techniques

July 27, Lan Nickens Chamberlain's Steak & Chop House Summertime indoor grilling

August 3, Tracy Miller Local Peaches: savory and sweet

August 10, André Natera Village Marquee Grill Modern Asian cooking

The classes are $25 a clip or $30 if you want to wait and pay at the door. But you super-ready-to-commit types can save a whopping 15 bucks by purchasing a pass to all the classes at once. To buy any or all of the classes ahead of the time head over here. And if you have any questions call 214-653-8088.

I'm expecting to see some seriously local cooking on your Instagrams in the coming weeks.
