Driving down McKinney Avenue, past Idle Rich and Black Friar, is a familar site for Dallas residents : a bustling Sfuzzi patio. Once a Dallas chain back in the nineties, Sfuzzi reopened its doors for a soft opening May 1 (continuing with full lunch and dinner the past two weeks, along brunch options Saturday and Sunday), and restaurateur Roberto Columbo ain't kidding around about the pies.

Our photographer Caity Colvard captured Chef "Boo Boo" at Sfuzzi's on McKinney tossing up a house-made pepperoni pie coated with an agave nector to give it a tinge of sweetness, followed by their house-made Sfuzzi sauce.
