Well you made it through Valentine's Day. In case you're interested in reliving the carnage, here's a slide show of sexy dishes you may have encountered on your big night out, and a story on why many chefs hate to make them. Of course if you really want to depress yourself check out why you should never, ever propose at a restaurant. Perhaps you'd like to console yourself with a whiskey sour? This week I reviewed Los Torres Taqueria, a family owned taqueria, deep into Oak Cliff, that I think should be on every taco enthusiasts radar.
Elsewhere on CoA, I checked in on Bob's on Lemmon for the coldest martini I have ever tasted. And since we like booze so much, you knew we were going to write about Texas' work to make us boozier. Beer just might be esier to brew and sell here, if recently filed legislation passes down in Austin. We could get a new state pie, too.

Side Dish has an interview with the folks behind Lark on the Park. The Californians promise fresh, local, seasonal produce, which is nice, but I'm excited to have a restaurant help anchor Klyde Warren Park.
Speaking of provenance, Entree Dallas has an interview with Jess Myers, one of the owners of Origin Natural Food.
