We lost Soundgarden's Chris Cornell. We gained new Sarah Jaffe and Charley Crockett albums. Many local artists continued to shine. Both -Topic and Dezi 5 departed for the coasts. There were many festivals, including bringing Oaktopia down to Deep Ellum. The Longhorn Ballroom returned. Denton had some crazy house parties. Lady Gaga fans impressed with costumes.
