The Infirmary Was Insane

The Infirmary Was Insane

Sunday night at The Church was another evening of provocative erotic performance art. The event was titled "Infirmary" and featured medical fetish themed entertainment by Courtney Crave, Kimber Crimsin Fox, Audrey Scorn, and May May Graves. "Infirmary" was organized by Angela Ryan, The Church/Lizard Lounge Owner Don Nedler and the Vampire Court of Dallas as a fundraiser to help with medical expenses for 20 year resident DJ Joe Virus. The event also featured an auction of club memorabilia collected by Don Nedler throughout the years. A few years ago Virus sustained a knee injury at The Church and the costs related to that have mounted. Event organizers took time out toe express their appreciation for Joe Virus and the 20 plus years he's spent as a DJ and ambassador for the local Goth scene. When all was said and done the event raised roughly $10,000. It was definitely an emotional moment for all in involved, and show that club life isn't always about partying and debauchery.
