The good news for all you lazy freaks (read: normal people) that don’t want to run a 25K/50K “ultramarathon” is that El Scorcho‘s registration is done filled up. All numbers taken. That doesn’t mean that you can’t head out to Trinity Park in Fort Worth at midnight Sunday and cheer on all the charitable gluttons for punishment that are running for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Oh sure, it lasts until 7 a.m. and runs along a 3.1 mile path—you can keep those vocal chords primed and ready since you’re not busting your ass out there for a good cause, right? Right?! That’s what we thought. Go support some ultramarathoners crazy from the heat. Visit elscorchorun.com for details. Oh, and if you want to know even more about this midnight craziness—you know, blog-style—check out elscorchorun.blogspot.com.
