So I’m looking into this Dr. Kenneth Cooper guy, father of aerobics and man behind our own Cooper Aerobics Center, and I’m thinking, “Maybe I shouldn’t be drinking this shake. Maybe I should keep track of my Weight Watchers Points all the time. Perhaps my exercise plan should consist of more than Dance Dance Revolution and thinking about starting Pilates again.” Then again, Coop might be pleased the DDR gets my ticker going a bit faster than playing dominoes on my DS. I guess I could ask when the Doc discusses and signs copies of his latest guide to “intergenerational” fitness, Start Strong, Finish Strong, 7 p.m. Wednesday at Barnes & Noble, 7700 W. Northwest Highway. The book contains tips on increasing stamina, motivation, strength, flexibility and more as we age. Sounds like a plan…well, at least that motivation part. Call 214-739-1124.
