The rise of the craft beer movement may be a relatively new concept, but Rahr & Sons was making local brews when most of those beer aficionados were just about to hit those awkward teenage years. Ten years ago, Rahr & Sons opened their doors to a thirsty Dallas-Fort Worth, and they are celebrating their birthday with a tour and tasting event at their brewhouse. You can sample all of their original creations, such as The Regulator, the Midnight Cab 20134 or the Iron Joe. Everyone who attends will also receive a commemorative glass and hear a live performance by Big Mike’s Box of Rock. The Rahr & Sons Brewing Co. is located at 701 Galveston Ave. in Fort Worth. Tickets are $10 for general admission and $20 for VIP guests. The party starts at 11 a.m.

Sat., Nov. 22, 11 a.m., 2014
