When buddies and collaborators Seth Romatelli and Jonathan Larroquette talk shop in their podcast Uhh, Yeah Dude, there’s no pop culture faction left unrepresented. They dig through the fat folds of the Internet — lifting up its smelliest skin flaps — then peer in that mess to see what’s growing amidst all of that anonymous bacteria. Will they target a string of frantic Missed Connections with foreshadowed doomed endings? It’s possible. How about recent studies on how Americans are spending those greenbacks? Sure, why not. Or maybe they’ll root out a haunted sinkhole, freaky trends in breastfeeding or find a flock of carnivorous parrots from Florida — all in the same show. Parade of Flesh brings the dudes to the Texas Theatre (231 W. Jefferson Blvd.) for a live recording of the popular podcast at 8 p.m. Saturday, and tickets cost $20 to $25. Fun fact: While in town, Romatelli plans to visit the Sixth Floor Museum, dressed like Oswald. I suppose that leaves Larroquette to be the most hippied-out Jack Ruby ever. Visit paradeofflesh.com.
