A few weeks ago, instead of watching the Mavs game, I watched the US vs. Mexico friendly game with a friend. What happened? We deadlocked 2-all while Dirk scored his first triple-double. Yeah, it stings a bit, but despite missing the glory, that futbol game kicked serious ass. I stood on a couch. I screamed. I shotgunned a Fanta. OK, that last part was a lie. Point is, watching our southerly neighbors is pretty amazing too. Dunno if the audience will be as amped as they were on TV that night, but at least you can be a part of it when the Mexico Olympic Team faces off against the Finland National Team 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Pizza Hut Park in Frisco.
