The neat freak versus the messy one. OCD versus pack rat mound-making. Unger versus Madison. It’s a pairing pop culture fans know better as The Odd Couple. The Richardson Theatre Centre, however, is shaking things up a bit. They’re throwing out the classic tale of singles co-habitating…only this time, instead of Felix and Oscar, it’s Florence and Olive. That’s right, rather than throwing down the trials of two guys we know from the tube, the RTC is showing it how it normally is: two gals driving each other crazy with piles and Windex while making life bearable for each other. It’s really just life after college (or divorce), but it also makes a great play. See the girls get their roommatin’ on at 2701 N. Custer Parkway in Richardson. Showtimes are 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sundays through February 16. For tickets and info, call 972-699-1130 or visit richardsontheatrecentre.org.
Fridays, Saturdays, 8 p.m.; Sundays, 3 p.m. Starts: Jan. 25. Continues through Feb. 16, 2008
