Living with celiac disease or severe food allergies is no easy task. A casual dinner out becomes an almost insurmountable chore. The impending holidays are almost a nightmare to imagine. The best weapon in this battle is knowledge, and the Dallas Gluten and Allergen Expo is here to equip you to the gills. The two-day event includes more than 70 vendors of specialty products, demonstrations by cooks and several cooking classes. The expo is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at The Westin Park Central, 12720 Merit Drive. Cooking classes begin at 8 a.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday.
