Valentine's Day is currently recognized by most people I know as nothing more than a nasty ploy by greeting card companies to get us to spend our hard earned dollars on their sappy, one-size-fits-all sentiments. To me, though, the real problem with the holiday is the chocolate. I could see giving someone two or three pieces of candy to prove you love them, but these boxed monstrosities boasting over a pound of chocolate per box are out of control. Instead, why not give your Valentine the opposite of fatness by signing the two of you up for Valentine Couples Yoga at Transform U Fitness Private Training & Yoga Studio? They're offering classes at 6 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. Friday evening, at a cost of $55 per couple. Transform U Fitness is located at 1565 W. Main Street, Suite 240, in Lewisville. For more information, or to sign up for a class, call 972-849-9666, or visit transformu.tv.
