Design District gastropub The Meddlesome Moth (1621 Oak Lawn Ave.) is kicking off spring in an indulgent fashion with Art, Small Bites & Brews: A Night of Pairings. Beer is the star of the night, and brew nerds should be especially happy to know Deschutes Brewery will have some of their less-tasted taps on hand (like the Hop Henge Experimental IPA), paired with some of the Moth’s own small-plate dishes to cleanse the palate. The night’s art comes courtesy of Dallas’ equally experimental W.A.A.S. Gallery, which will be displaying several local artists. Event is free, but reserve a ticket early. Starts at 5 p.m. Call 214-628-7900 or visit mothinthe.net for more info.
