For the past few years the Oak Cliff Cultural Center has been working hard providing outreach and education programs for Oak Cliff residents and neighbors. The staff at the Cultural Center provides a wide array of activities intended to foster community engagement and it’s time to celebrate their hard work. They’re throwing a day-long block party to mark the Oak Cliff Cultural Center’s 4th Anniversary. You should expect live music from the Cultural Center’s guitar program, performances by resident dance companies, face painting, art booths, vendor booths, workshops, food and more. If it sounds like a lot, that’s because it is, and it's all entirely free and open to the public. So around 3 p.m. Saturday, head to 223 W. Jefferson Boulevard to take in some culture, eat some food and get to know one of the city’s coolest Cultural Center’s. For more information visit dallasculture.org/oakcliffculturalcenter.
