The folks who run Austin''s Fun Fun Fun Fest have made it clear: Heading into their fifth year of operation, they aren't planning on slowing down their ever-growing momentum. Quite the opposite, actually: The fest is ramping up to seriously challenge ACL as Austin's premiere fall fest.
Seriously: Just a few minutes ago, the FFF folk released the full lineup (see it after the jump) for this year's four-stage, November 6, 7 and 8 affair at Austin's Waterloo Park. And, really, it compares nicely to ACL's offering, only without snoozers like The Eagles popping up on this one.
The real treats on FFF Fest's fifth offering? There are plenty: The Hold Steady, The Dwarves, MGMT, High on Fire, Bad Relgion, Polvo, Delorean, GWAR, and many, many others. Among those others? Dallas hardcore beasts Power Trip--a band we've been hot on all year.
