We already named it our Poster of the Week, sure. But we're excited for tomorrow night's show at Hailey's for a few reason--not the least of which is the fact that we here at DC9 are among the show's sponsors.
No, let's not just think that we're selling you on this show simply because our name's on it. C'mon, I think our coverage history shows why we'd have plenty of interest here: When we folk out here at DC9 HQ--and we do so with startling regularity, actually--we do so to these bands.
That's common knowledge, almost. Hell, we had four of the nine bands on this bill--Telegraph Canyon, Doug Burr, Seryn and The Fox & The Bird--perform as part of our DC9 in SPACE series. And we've covered Spooky Folk's remarkable promise in North of the Dial. Plus, we highly approve of Glen Farris, The Hand Combine and Baruch The Scribe. And we like what we've heard of the Monahans.
So, yeah, this show should be a good time.
Which is why we're excited that we've got three free pairs of tickets to hand out to this show. Want one of them? Shoot me an email right now with the words "I Want An Early Christmas Present!" in the subject line, and we'll oblige--so long as you're one of the first tree to do so. Good luck!
Update: Contest is over. Congrats to our winners.
