As we mentioned in our preview this week, Summer of Glaciers, the solo project of Angelus bassist Ryan Wasterlain, just released an EP on Denton’s Gutterth Records called Small Spaces.
Check out the video clip for the unreleased track “The Use of Mirrors,” so you can get a taste of his soundscapes. If you like your music “atmospheric” but don’t necessarily want to hear 11 songs of it, the EP is the perfect length. SoG headlines tomorrow’s bill with fellow locals New Fumes, Melting Season and Juve, who all employ the man vs. effects approach.
I can’t be the only one who thinks the lineup sounds like the premise of some environmental horror movie Lars Von Trier might think up, so here’s your chance to win two spots on the list for tomorrow’s show.
