Pleasant Grove

The alt-country/indie rockers in Pleasant Grove have posted (from the looks of it…) four new tracks on their MySpace page for your listening pleasure. Each track (including our favorite of the bunch, “Luzern”) is hinted to be on an album called Release The River that’s set to come out…maybe this year?

Kinda tough to say given that Pleasant Grove’s booked a handful of local goodbye gigs in the near future before heading to SXSW and before frontman Marcus Striplin ships off to New York City to try his hand in the scene out there, leaving us Pleasant Grove-less for a bit. Either way, at least new bites like these will help satiate our Pleasant Grove hunger for a little while… — Pete Freedman
