When mining this city's musical history of the last twenty years it's impossible to miss Mwanza "Wanz" Dover's musical footprint. From his beginnings in the critically acclaimed Mazinga Phaser, to The Falcon Project, Blixaboy, The Black Dotz and as the DOMA's 2012 Best DJ.

Although his resume is quite impressive, and cements his status as a Dallas music influence, he's pretty easy to find. Wednesday's Dover spins every Friday at 9 p.m. at Nova, in Oak Cliff.

And Thursdays, you can find him at Zubar on Greenville at 10 p.m. for "Stereo on Strike." Dover's expertise on musical history and his passion for its form make him one of Dallas' best live acts.

What to Expect: Crate gems and rare remixes settling the soundtrack for an excellent lucid dream.
