Astronautalis may actually call Jacksonville, Florida, his home base, but, as he told the crowds before during his Homegrown Festival performance on Saturday, he’s always considered Dallas a home, too.
And, hey, we’re proud to call him our own, as well — especially after he dropped an insane seven and a half minute freestyle on the unsuspecting audiences in Main Street Garden Park late in the afternoon.
We already gushed about the SMU grad’s offerings yesterday, calling him the highlight of the festival. Now you can see why: After the jump, we’ve posted the freestyle in full, as shot by someone with a way better view of the performance than we even had. Check it out.
