Because, see, the CBS affiliate is offering to do all the heavy lifting — it’s one of only four nationally to do so, with more markets forthcoming in coming weeks. It’s part of CBS’s new “revenue-sharing ad network that targets social media Web sites and blogs on a local basis,” and it’d entail adding one of these widgets to the blog. Best part, of course: There’s “increased credibility by partnering with CBS 11 & TXA 21 Dallas/Fort Worth.” And God knows we need the cred. –Robert Wilonsky
