Last night, I was watching my fave late-night newscast, MSNBC’s Countdown with Keith Olbermann, during which the former ESPN’er twice aired the clip of WFAA-Channel 8 reporter Bert Lozano’s close encounter with a streaker on Sunday night. The first time Olbermann aired the clip–unedited, yech and hee-hee–was during his nightly Oddball segment. He introduced it this way:
“And finally to Texas, where wildfires, of course, have been the big story of the week, the month. And we have to say some of the best coverage has come from Dallas and WFAA television, particularly from unflappable reporter Bert Lozano.”
A little while later, MSNBC aired it again during Countdown‘s Top Three Soundbites segment; it held the top spot, along with the heading, “The Bite So Nice We Played it Twice.” Nice. In that spirit, here it is again in case you missed it. And, really, how could you? –Robert Wilonsky
