It’s not terribly interesting that the Addison outpost of a food-n-boozery is hosting a “Wii night” every Tuesday night. Nor is Blackfinn’s wacky slogan terribly wacky (or original): “Real Men Wii Standing Up,” oof. What is interesting — kind of, anyway — is how gamers find Blackfinn’s Wii Night so, ah, interesting. “It’s great to see our previously basement-nerd medium getting more and more widespread public appreciation,” writes one commenter, in between a bunch of angry posts. “The first step in the road to not being labeled as killers-in-training by the narrow minded.” Video games — no longer a secret shame. –Robert Wilonsky
