No, these won't taste like Bud Light and Marlboro Reds.

Oreo started the new year by announcing six new treats that would be available on supermarket shelves and freezers, but none of them came close to the most recent unveiling of their Post Malone x Oreo collab.

The new limited-edition cookies will have a first-of-its-kind swirled creme, smashed between two different flavored cookies, reflecting the rap-turned-country singer's transition in the industry.

They'll also feature nine different embossments on each side that illustrate his career thus far. Some of them include a guitar pic, butterfly, sunflower and the truck from the cover of his most recent album, F-1 Trillion.

Many will be disappointed, like one Instagram commenter, to find out that the Oreos will not taste like bourbon and cigarettes. Nor will the cookie have one distinct flavor. Instead, it will consist of one chocolate Oreo cookie and one golden Oreo cookie, combined with a salted caramel and shortbread swirl.

Post Malone may still be a Cowboys fan, but for this sleight of hand, perhaps we can let that slide... For now.

"Can't believe they let me make my own OREO cookie. So happy everyone gets to try the taste twist — hope you love it as much as I do, 'cause I think it's the best OREO ever!" Post Malone said in a statement. "It's the first time OREO has ever twisted the creme of the cookie and they named it after me."

Of course, they did.

He didn't dish out what they experimented with before finalizing this one, but when he tried these, it was love at first bite.

"Did we create the best @OREO ever?" the singer mused after announcing the collab on Instagram.
Malone himself couldn't believe that Oreo let him make his own cookie. As for us, we're glad Oreo archived the era of slapping a random flavor between two cookies and sending it to a metaphorical graveyard on market shelves. Remember watermelon Oreos? Unfortunately, that wasn't a Mandela Effect conspiracy.

Those days are over, and now they're bringing in the big guns to help with the company's marketing strategy. Oreo's limited-time partnership with Coca-Cola is ongoing now. And soon, Post Malone's new cookie will take center stage for the brand.

You can pre-order the cookies from the Oreo website starting on Monday, Jan. 27. They will be on shelves for a limited time starting Monday, Feb. 3.
