Corpus Christi native Farrah Fawcett, who died today at the age of 62 following a lengthy and very public battle with cancer, will be remembered for many things: Charlie’s Angels, her hair, that pin-up poster, The Burning Bed (she could act!), her David Letterman appearance. But locals who actually saw Robert Altman’s 2000 filmed-in-Dallas Dr. T and the Women will never forget how she made a splash in the fountain at NorthPark Center. (Update: Yes, sorry. And Logan’s Run.)

Update at 5:15 p.m.: On DC9, I’ve posted video of the now late, great Michael Jackson performing at Texas Stadium in 1984. The King of Pop died moments ago, at the age of 50.
