Hal Samples is featuring over on his photog blog the latest video from self-proclaimed local “reggae-jazz-dub” band Aton. Writes Hal, the video for the song “We Are All” is “compiled of images from a live performance they recently did for some of my homeless friends. Most of the DV you see was filmed by the men and women living on the street.” It’s similar, in fact, to Hal’s work on the Polyphonic Spree’s “The Fragile Army” video — and Samples’ doc-in-progress Dreamtown, about people who are “desperate and can’t think about tomorrow.” Fitting we end with this, since we started the day with this.
