The above video, released today, confirms the latest addition to the ever-impressive 2011 bill for Austin’s Fun Fun Fun Fest, which, by moving out of Waterloo Park and into Auditorium Shores, stands to be the fest’s biggest offering yet.
Who’s the latest add? Why, the mighty Slayer, of course. Or “FUCKIN’ SLAYER!” as you might better know them.

Slayer joins a bill of previously announced acts including Comedian Brian Posehn, Austin heroes Okkervil River, buzzing hip-hop collective Odd Future, noted John Hughes fans M83 and punk legends X, comedian and 35 Denton vet Reggie Watts, soundscaper Flying Lotus, college rock favorites Ra Ra Riot, hardcore punk act Kid Dynamite, iconic punk outfit Murder City Devils and the oh-so-hot-right-now tune-yards.
The full lineup will be released at 1 p.m. on Monday. Keep your eyes peeled to DC9 for the full announcement then.
