The city of Dallas wants this year’s St. Patrick’s Day festivities to be a little more “family friendly.” It’s in that spirit that we make this important announcement: We’re bringing Snoop Dogg to the party.
The Doggfather will headline the annual Dallas Observer St. Patrick’s Day concert on the afternoon of Saturday, March 16 in the Energy Square Parking Lot after the Greenville Avenue parade. Gates open at noon. Tickets are $15 and go on sale next Friday, February 8 at 10 a.m. But you can get them on Tuesday, February 5, through our pre-sale by signing up for our music newsletter.
Previous headliners for the Observer‘s St. Patty’s day concert include Ryan Bingham & The Dead Horses and the Toadies.

Snoop, of course, is among the most significant and prolific rappers in history – he released his eleventh full-length, Doggumentary, in 2011.
