Texas International Theatrical Arts Society, (TITAS) and the AT&T Performing Arts Center present the annual Command Performance, a miscellany of dance routines, from pas de deux, a classic type of ballet duet (think girls in tutus and men in tights) to cutting edge, contemporary performances. Ten principle dancers from across the country will take to the stage for the two-hour-long dance spectacle, which is a fairly long time to sit and watch folk sashay and bound across the stage (we suggest not bring a date unless they’re as enthusiastic about dance as you are). Command Performance takes place at the Winspear Opera House on Friday, March 9 at 7 p.m. Tickets for the event start at $12, for more information and to purchase tickets visit titas.org or call 214-880-0202.

Will you step up to support Dallas Observer this year?
At the Dallas Observer, we’re small and scrappy — and we make the most of every dollar from our supporters. Right now, we’re $16,250 away from reaching our December 31 goal of $30,000. If you’ve ever learned something new, stayed informed, or felt more connected because of the Dallas Observer, now’s the time to give back.
