Are you behind on your gallery-hopping? We understand. Dallas has a whole lot of galleries, and checking out all of the best ones isn’t always easy. Luckily The Dallas Art Dealers Association (DADA) helps out a bit with its annual Spring Gallery Walk, along with Panel Discussions and a student exhibition on Saturday. The gallery walk (or drive, for some far-flung cases) features more than 30 galleries, museums and nonprofit art spaces. (DADA members include the Dallas Contemporary, The Goss-Michael Foundation, Bath House Cultural Center and the Ice House Cultural Center. A complete listing is available at dallasartdealers.org.) Panel discussions are held before the walk at the Dallas Contemporary, 2801 Swiss Ave., and cost $15. Panel 1 (10:30 a.m. to noon) features a talk on How to Create a Great Artist’s Portfolio, and Panel 2 (1 to 2:30 p.m.) has onsite appraisals of paintings, prints, photographs and sculpture by accredited appraisers. From 6 to 8 p.m., the Norwood Flynn Gallery (3318 Shorecrest Drive) will present the 2009 Arts Magnet Spring Senior Show, a free juried show featuring senior visual art students from Booker T.
