Hecate Hill is this really cool place where Bigfoots hang out. And they don’t take too kindly to being killed, OK? So when these hunters in Southern Oklahoma kill one of them, all hell breaks loose. Or does it? That’s the central question of Hecate Hill, a one-act play at Pocket Sandwich Theatre, running 11:15 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The central characters of the play are a group of cycling friends who meet up for a reunion and a Bigfoot hunt in some remote cabins in Oklahoma. At the same time, and not too far away, some real Bigfoot hunters actually kill a bigfoot. An electromagnetic pulse then shuts down the power all over the world and “angry creatures” invade the planet. At this point there are all kinds of questions. Can the cycling friends survive the night? Is any of this really happening? Will the friends find out the truth about Hecate Hill? All of this in an R-rated one-act with only two scenes. The theater is located at 5400 E. Mockingbird Lane. Call 214-821-1860 or visit pocketsandwich.com.
Fri., Oct. 27, 11:15 p.m.; Sat., Oct. 28, 11:15 p.m.
